Wild Card Brewery is an award-winning, craft microbrewery based in Walthamstow, on the Blackhorse Beer Mile. Under the head brewer-ship of BBC Food Program presenter, Jaega Wise, we produce a range of lovely beers and run two taprooms in East London.
Our lovely Walthamstow brewery and taproom can be found on Lockwood Way, just off Blackhorse Lane. Today, we are joined by eight breweries and a wine producer, to form the Blackhorse Beer Mile!
Once you arrive at Blackhorse Lane tube station, you can try a beer at each of our lovely neighbors on the Blackhorse Beer Mile: Big Penny Social, Signature Brew, Exale Brewing, Beerblefish Brew Co, Hackney Brewery and Pretty Decent Brewing Company.
You can start or finish at Lockwood Way, at the Wild Card Brewery taproom. All of our fresh craft beers are available to drink on keg; pales, IPAs, NEIPAs, sours, the lot. We also have rare bottles from our spontaneously fermented brews collection available to share with your pals. Plus, our kitchen residency The Dragon Flame are there to serve up their delicious barbecue, which goes unbelievably well with a crisp, hoppy Wild Card pint. Our fridges are always stocked with our newest product, plus we operate a free Click and Collect service from our webshop.
We love Walthamstow and to see such a thriving beer scene develop in our home has been truly wonderful. Whether you're a newbie or a craft beer geek, we'd love for you to visit our taproom and sample our brews! If you're looking to round off the day with a trip to a homey and cosy pub, the Tavern on the Hill is five minutes walk from Blackhorse Lane, as has Wild Card's full offering on tap, with the addition of our cask ale range which is certainly not to be missed by any craft beer fan.
